Community and corporate contributions make it possible for us to provide important programs and continue our mission of compassion, support and encouragement for cancer patients and their families.

Community Cancer Services provides the following programs
and services to our clients based on their needs and interests:
Cost assistance for lodging and transportation to and from cancer related doctor and medical appointments.
Financial assistance for insurance co-payments, prescriptions, medical bills, and utilities.
Individual and family counseling.
Professionally facilitated group sessions providing educational opportunities and mutual support.
Medical equipment loans including wheel chairs, walkers, lift beds, shower chairs, and lift chairs.
"Look Good...Feel Better", an American Cancer Society program for women with cancer teaching beauty techniques to help enhance appearance and self-image during treatment.
A full line of products to help women facing cancer treatment cope with health and appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment.
Fittings and/or financial assistance for post-mastectomy products.
Nutritional supplements to provide the nutrients and energy a body needs to help heal.
A library with cancer-related materials as well as free Internet access and printing.
Volunteer drivers through the American Cancer Society's "Road to Recovery" program.
Yoga classes to help increase physical tolerance and reduce fatigue, depression, and pain.
